My favorites

I saw a great big list of this from .seek. and I knew I had to do it. I cut down the list by a lot or else I wouldn't be doing anything else for at least 12 hours.

.favorite cookie: white chocolate macadamia nut or something with caramel or toffee

.favorite way to eat oatmeal: in a bowl with a spoon duh…okay but I also like nut butter or maple syrup in it.

. favorite snack: I like to snack…a lot…and I like my sweets. It really depend how I’m feeling and what time of the day it is. Suppose it’s after track practice, I like the Nature Valley honey and oats or pecan granola bars. Suppose it’s after dinner, I like chocolate or whatever I baked. Suppose it’s after a light lunch, I like yogurt and fruit or cracker and cheese.

. favorite sandwich combo: I have mixed feeling about sandwiches. I like them but I like eating my food with a fork or chopstick better and I almost always think it’s not worth eating the bready carb since the filling is the star of the show. Okay, I like white cheese (you know mozzarella or Swiss), grilled veggies, guacamole,

. are you vegetarian: no, but I really don’t like meat unless it’s really good quality and well cooked. But I generally try not to be picky and just eat whatever I have. Another thing is that I believe that humans are not designed by nature to eat meat and we have paid the consequences in environment, health (diseases and cancer), and you know, just look at your skin. However, meat contain many many important nutrients that are hard to get from veggies.

. favorite yogurt: Have you tried the Wallaby brand at Whole Foods??? Goodness, it’s is so creamy but has a normal yogurt consistency and definitely not the Yoplait goopy texture. Wallaby is an Australian type yogurt and the ingredient list is simple and you can taste the real fruit in there.

favorite fruit: Hands down, tropical fruit. Papaya, mango, pineapple. Oh and let me throw in strawberries and blueberries.

. favorite dried fruit: who wants dried when you have fresh?

. favorite veggie: I like any roasted or grilled veggies. I just don’t like Chinese bitter melon and okra.

. favorite comfort food: Comfort food is overrated

. favorite restaurant: No fair, it’s like choosing between China and U.S. Hump… Okay, cheesecake factory. My aunt and uncle took me there for my birthday last year for brunch and it was divine.

. favorite beverage: I don’t really drink. Hahaha…get it? But really, I really don’t like to drink juice, coffee or tea. Maybe smoothie but it’s has to be fresh and water after running. Honestly, I’m not picky but you’re asking me favorites.

.. favorite dessert: Something with loads of butter, sugar and cream. My fav is ice cream!!! Yup, working is a challenge every time at Graeters.

favorite condiment: Ketchup; always and forever.

. favorite way to eat tortilla chips: Guacamole. To me chips is just a vehicle for dips.

. do you watch food network: Are you kidding me? Heck yes.

. favorite salad combo: romaine, cherry tomato, feta, marinated mushrooms, and honey mustard or caramelized onion vinaigrette. YUM.

. do you like Panera: I love their cream soups. It’s so hearty.

. favorite bagel: cinnamon crunch form Panera

. do you like cream cheese or PB on your bagel: cream cheese. I think PB is too overpowering because it’s an entity of itself

favorite bar: I rarely eat bars but if I had to chose one it’s the clif bars.

. favorite peanut butter: Peanut butter and Co.’s chocolate PB.

. favorite almond butter: Trader Joe’s roasted almond and flaxseeds

. favorite cereal: in terms that one’s that will give you a sugar rush, coco puffs and captain crunch. Healthy wise, I really haven’t had much just because cereal doesn’t fill me up. I really would like to try Puffins.

. favorite ethnic food: I love everything that’s out there for their own uniqueness. I love Indian and Mediterranean. Mexican and Italian you can say it’s American also now since the way they treat is completely different from it’s original destination.

. favorite indulgence: I don’t see anything as indulgences. Moderation is key.

do you like margaritas: I’ve never actually had one…

. are you into spicy food: I grew up with a level in the fridge just for hot sauce only thanks to my dad’s love for them. Yes, I like spicy foods.

. favorite way to eat a banana: ha, ha, ha banana bread! Or baked banana in their skins, banana fosters, caramelized bananas

. favorite way to eat an apple: by itself. Munching it whole is fun.

. are you good at eating with chopsticks: I would put my ancestors to shame because I use it wrongly. Sorry. But I eat with chopsticks everyday and I’m pretty good compared to other but when it comes to those slippery shiny chopsticks then no.

where would you be able to spend hours and be happy: I have to agree with .seek.’s answer: “? Heaven; from what I hear, it’s supposed to be great. After all, what more could you want besides eternal peace and love?” on earth, that the kitchen or in my bed.

. what’s your favorite kind of doughnut? Cake cullers.

. do you have any tattoos or piercing? Does a normal pierced ear count?

. what’s your favorite movie? Titanic though I like a lot of movies.

who was the last person you spoke to on the phone? My mommy

what’s the last thing you ate? Cheese and crackers and more crackers

what was your best subject in school? I suppose math but I really enjoyed my government class this year. Everything we learned and discussed was tangible and interesting and real.

. chocolate or vanilla? Huh? Vanilla is my childhood favorite but with a more sophisticated palate I like chocolate better

would you rather be a rock star or famous athlete? Neither. I would not like being under the public’s scrutiny.

. what are you wearing right now? Black running shorts, light blue tank top and black hoodie.

Pretty cool huh?

Breakfast was big handfuls of early cherries. Today is my one off day. I've been working my butt off to finish 70 hours and blogging and working and going to appointments and working out and...'nuff said.

Avocados are starting to go bad eckkk!! Had some mashed for breakfast.

I had a green monster for lunch. Basically, it's like eating a salad in smoothie form. Forgive the color, I forgot that blueberries and spinach gives a bad color. Nevertheless, it was sweet, refreshing, smooth and it felt good to feed something good for myself. I know I had to eat lunch part two later on. Smoothie doesn't fill a girl like me up!
almond milk, spinach, frozen banana and blueberries.
It's so much better then those sugar ladened smoothies. Do you know how Greater's making smoothies? Juice, lots of sorbet, ice and a couple piece of frozen fruit.
My brother got this mug from the magazine sale in middle school. I thought it was pretty fitting. You know, green monster and green school color.
Perfect!
Don't look at me weird. Wait till you tried it yourself and then who's gonna look that excited.

When the blender started whirling, I literally double over laughing till I teared up to see some of your faces at this lovely smoothie color. It was the funniest thing.
