Say, who’s hot? I amazingly got up at 9:30am this morning. It’s hard for me to sleep in. Initially I woke up at 7ish and made myself go back to sleep. I dreamed and I dozed in and out of sleep until 9:30am. I dreamed that I was late for the wedding I’m shadowing tonight. It was so nerve racking because Franklin Conservatory Park is nowhere near where I live and I was late. I hate being late. When I woke up for a moment I literally thought the dream was real and it was Sunday and I had missed the wedding. Don’t laugh. I really thought for a moment the dream was real and I panicked for a split second. In times when I’m so busy I have forgotten many things. This, you guys, is overachieving at its finest.

I made the quickest breakfast I can think of. Yogurt mess: yogurt, almond butter, kashi, banana and a bite of French toast and cheesecake that I was saving for my dad who came home last night. I decided to take the bowl outside for a picture since it was a beautiful day.

Marissa was my first friend when I moved here and guess what? She’s also my next-door neighbor! Since she had a few graduation parties to go to in the afternoon and evening and I have the wedding in the afternoon through evening, we saw a movie in the morning. Iron Man 2! I felt like the storyline was predictable and in the end I guess I’m not an action movie person. I like the love stories and comedies more. But it was a good movie.

Lunch, I was hot and wasn’t keen on having a warm meal. So I just took yesterday’s leftovers and some of my mom’s tofu and this morning’s French toast for lunch (x2). I also had to have a piece of that dulce de leche cheesecake that I made. It was super thick and creamy and the dulce de leche flavor was really pronounced. The crust could have been crustier but that’s probably because it sat in the fridge for a couple days for my dad to come home.

Now, I’m off to try to find something black to wear for the wedding. And for those who don’t know Chamber Music Connections as a gig program that lets students play at weddings and get paid but you have to shadow first and that’s what I’m doing tonight. See you later!
