I think the reason I love thunderstorms so much is because of it's power. While it does not match that of hurricanes or earthquakes (which is a good thing), thunderstorm's power gives an unstoppable vibe and to me it's absolutely amazing. I don't know. But I do know I have to go to sleep ad pray that I will fall asleep since I slept for a good chuck in the car and I'm very sensitive sleeper in that I just don't sleep easily plus I have a wedding rehearsal gig early this morning (?). Run-on, sorry, I can't help it. It's 1:05am. Forgive me.

I drove through hell
I wish I can show you the pictures but it's refusing to load and it's almost 1am. The pictures don't do justice to show you how back things were. Yes, I literally drove through hell to get home. There was rain all the way back though I didn't drive all the way home. At one point I considered pulling off to the side of the road cause the only things I can see is some blurry red light and just faintly the road even though the window wipers were going as fast as they could. But I clenched my jaw and just drove into seemingly nothingness. It was quite stunning to see flashes of lightening illuminate the sky into a slivery shimmer especially when I was driving uphill and that's literally all I saw. The dark mountains that surrounded us seemed so imposing as we drove up and down through the valley.
